Crazy Ass Day with relatives

So...I spent my Sunday before the school finals with my dad and my relatives because we were supposed to celebrate my birthday. But instead, what did I get? a bunch of bullshit about my car, in other words, they were indirectly telling me that I had no idea how to drive stick shift. So my dad brings us (my sister and I) over to my relative's house and the first thing that happens is we have a half an hour conversation about my car. I had printed out a paper with the list of problems my car has and my grand uncle starts lecturing me about each one. Even my aunt, when she saw that one of the problems was the cigarette burner fuse, she coldly asked me "what do you need a cigarette burner fuse for?". But then my dad took over so I didn't have to answer her. So then my grand uncle kept on lecturing me about how I was shifting wrong and all that shit and I was thinking to myself "Why are you teaching me how to shift when now, in the present, I drive a stick shift car more than you do?" He was telling me how if first, second, third, AND fourth gear grinds, to first step in on the clutch the first time, shift into gear, and if the gear doesn't lock in (grinds), then move the stick back to neutral, step on the clutch again, then shift into gear again. Well guess what? I already knew that, like two months ago and have been doing it ever since. He also told me a bunch of other stuff and at that time, I was already like OMG STOP TELLING ME THIS, I ALREADY KNOW IT ALL. At then end, when I tried to reason with him, he asked me "then why bother buying a stick shift car when you don't know how to drive one?" At this point in time, when he said it, I was speechless. Here I am, LISTENING to him TELLING ME HOW TO DRIVE A STICK SHIFT when I have been driving a stick shift every single day of the week for at least 5 months. I also thought "well first of all, If I DIDN'T know how to drive a stick shift, WHY would I have bought a stick shift car in the first place and to waste seven grand on it?" So that whole conversation in total took about half an hour to 45 minutes. The funny part was, my first aunt came out first, asked about the car. Then later, my grandma came out and did the same. Third, my grand uncle came out, guess what happened? yep, he did the same thing. Then lastly, my second aunt came out, I don't even need to tell you what happened. By that time, I just gave her the piece of paper with all the problems on it, I didn't even say a word to her. I was asked the same damn question four times by four different people in less than 5 minutes, doesn't anyone find that to be a bit too annoying? I know that they wanted to show care by asking me how I was doing with the car but four times? Seriously? Come on. So then afterwards, we finally went out for lunch, and then the next thing happens. Ok, I'll just first put out that, other than 2 iPhone 4's, my relatives do not own ANY apple products. So my sister asked my dad for a Macbook Pro 15' for christmas, and I asked for an iPad 2 32GB Wifi+3G (I already have an iPad 2 myself so I got it for my mom). So then, my dad told both my aunts to check the pricing and specs for the macbook pro models they had. Since my relatives didn't know that I had a macbook, I couldn't tell them that I've used Apple laptops my whole life so I couldn't add any other input. So then they were asking my sister questions and all my sister told them was 'ask him, he's the one who knows.' So the good part was, I ended up telling them what my sister wanted and what my mom wanted so that went pretty smoothly. At first though, they were against my sister getting a macbook pro because they thought she didn't need that good of a computer. I was thinking well applications nowadays use up the computer's processor to it's best and a macbook pro is able to handle the usage pretty well. But then they kept on arguing until my dad said it was fine for her to get a macbook pro. We started eating lunch and then my dad brought up winter ball. Knowing that I didn't go to winter ball, I lied to him (yes, I lied to him, everyone lies to their parents at least once in a lifetime) saying that I had a stomach ache, blacked out on the sofa for half an hour (now this did really happen) and couldn't move because I felt paralyzed (I really couldn't feel my entire body, I was just laying there motionless). So then my aunt started blaming me for ditching my 'date' for the dance and I just started becoming really pissed because she told me to lie to my 'date' instead of telling her the truth about why I couldn't go to the 'winter formal dance' (I didn't go to the dance that night, my mom's company had a party and that's where my stomach ache started from). We argued for a good five minutes until we both got really pissed. I originally had an appetite still (I didn't eat that much to begin with) but then soon afterwards, I lost my appetite. Why? Because if I ever get super pissed while Im eating, I don't feel like eating anymore. Who was the only one who noticed that? My dad. Why? because the same thing happens to me, and he told everyone there that he had my type of personality when he was younger so he knew exactly how I felt at the time. I told him 'dad, our generation is way different from your generation now. the overall concepts are different now, everything has been changed. it's not the same as the past anymore.' So then after we finished lunch, got back to my relative's house, coincidentally their son got back home and so that's when all my relatives told me to tell him about my car problems. I told him only one problem: um...first, second, third, fourth, and reverse gears all grind. I need to have the gear synchro checked out. JUST from telling him that, he gave me a O_O expression and paused for a moment, then afterwards said wow, you may have to change the entire engine then, that's several thousands...ok well see when you're available in the next few weeks, we can take it over to a friend in San Jose to get the car checked out. I was like FINALLY, SOMEONE WHO ACTUALLY KNOWS HOW FUCKING SERIOUS THIS IS, GOD. My main point is, NONE of my relatives actually knew how serious the problem is, only he did, which I was VERY thankful for. So I'm going to take in my car to a repair shop, get it checked out, perhaps if I'm lucky enough, even get it tuned also and see what happens afterwards. In the mean time, I plan on having Zelly drive my car once more, and this time HOPEFULLY, get her driving on the streets to get a real feel of the car when it's in crappy condition. My reason for this is, once she gets the feel for the car when it's in horrible condition, after I get my car fixed up, I'll let her drive it again and see how she feels about it.

My main point is, I'm very disappointed in the fact that...my relatives still don't understand that I am now driving a stick shift more than they are, and yet they are still teaching me how to properly drive a stick shift when I drive it every day of the week except the weekends (sometimes even on the weekends, depending on what it is) to school. Like I said above, if I didn't know how to drive stick shift, yeah, I would wisely spend the seven grand on an automatic car, rather than wasting it on a stick shift car and just letting it sit there. Also, I was also pissed at the fact that my aunt told me to lie to Zelly rather than just telling her the truth. I know that Zelly knows that I would never lie to her because I am just not that kind of person to lie to friends like that.

Limo Fun

Today, me and a few friends celebrated my birthday (wednesday of this week) by taking a Hummer 20 passenger limousine to Monterey Bay 17 mile and back. It was a rush since the morning because I had to pick my friend Brooke up from school and I had to pick up my other friend Zelly from her house. So I left my house at around 9:20, got to the starbucks in Saratoga Downtown at 9:30, and got to Zelly's house at around 9:40-9:45 (yes, I was excessively speeding like always, that's how I got to her house so fast). So after I picked both of them up, I sped back to my house and got back before 10:00, knowing that I still had 10 minutes to spare. Then something bad happened. My best friend Austin told my mom to call his mom because something had happened. In the mean time, my mom told me to bring both Brooke and Zelly to chill at the Safeway near my house and get some food to eat. We spent a good 20 minutes there in total then afterwards rushed back to my house because the limo had just gotten to the house. So we went back, I was surprised at how big it was (abnormally larger than a regular sized limousine) when I saw it in front of my house. So then probably about 10-15 minutes passed, Austin finally got to my house, and we were on our way to Monterey Bay. Nothing fun quite happened until we got onto the highway. We started blasting music and all three of them were just...uh(thinking)...crazy. Knowing me, I was just sitting there, silent the whole time watching them be crazy (i'm not the crazy kind if you were to know me at all). So we were pretty much just blasting music and singing along to it the whole way there. When we entered Monterey, we spent about 10 minutes trying to find somewhere to sit down and eat. We walked up and down the street once and found a few recognizable fast food restaurants but we decided with good old Round Table Pizza. We went in, ordered our food, sat down, and started eating. Lunch took about half an hour and after that, we headed over to Walgreens which wasn't too far from us (it was at most, a block away). We went to Walgreens, bought some drinks and left the place in 10 minutes. We then called the driver and told him to pick us up to go to 17 mile drive. The 17 mile drive was just amazing, and we got extremely lucky too. Most of the time, Monterey Bay is covered with fog and cloudy skies but today, to our luck, it was clear skies and sunny. We were originally planning to stop at 4 points but due to the amount of time we had, we only stopped at 2. The first one was Cypress point, and the second one was Ghost Trees. The main attraction at Cypress Point was a huge rock with a TON of sea otters and pelicans. There was no main object at Ghost Trees but the thing was there were a lot of dead trees with a bunch of branches and no leaves, but it had an amazing view of the bay and trees on either side of the vista point.

Trees, rocks, and a bit of ocean on the bottom left

More of the rocks and the ocean on the left, less of the tree

So after we had a good chance to look at the view from Ghost Trees, it was time we head back to Saratoga. So...when we were on our way back, most of us were tired by then, and Austin and Brooke head to the back of the limo to a secluded area where they pulled a curtain and secluded themselves from the rest of the car. That left me and Zelly, but Zelly was tired so she decided to take a nap. Me, having nothing to do and feeling a bit awkward, I took out my phone and earphones and started listening to music. After about four songs or so, I decided to play tap tap but for some strange reason, my phone was not sensing my finger touches so I kept on missing the notes even though I WAS touching the notes at the right timing. I ended up rage quitting (yes, I rage quit out of games, no big deal) and just sat there. While I was sitting there, I looked at Zelly a few times and saw that something was wrong. The sun was in her eyes and I knew that if she woke up with the sun in her eyes, it just wouldn't be pleasant. So I sat there for 10 minutes not knowing what to do. But then for some weird reason, I thought of using all the jackets/sweaters/sweatshirts that I brought (in case Austin felt that it was cold at Monterey), put them all on the windows, then rip the plastic bags we got from Walgreens, and tie the sleeves together to make a somewhat successful window curtain so that way the sun wouldn't be shining in her eyes when she woke up. So I spent about a good 10 minutes or so to do it because I tied the sleeves together but they were still falling down, so I ended up tying the tied up sleeves to the speakers so they wouldn't fall. In addition to that, I placed 2 water bottles each underneath the clothing so that way they would get elevation to completely block out the sun except for a few small holes.

wasn't perfect or anything but covered most of the sun

After that entire thing was done, Austin suddenly came out from the curtains, froze, looked at the windows, and complimented me on it. Coincidentally, right as he said that, one of them fell and I got pissed. After I put it back up, he complimented me even further and I just told him 'I just think that if she wakes up with the sun in her eyes, it'll be unpleasant.' So then after he went back, I told Brooke it was the most I could do, and she told me that it was a clever thing to do. To be honest, I didn't even think of doing that until...idk what sparked my brain on it. I just thought of putting up my clothing against the windows, I didn't know what got me to put the plastic bags to good use because it almost worked. Anyways, after that, we were pretty much 20 minutes away from Valley Fair (we changed the location on the way back) and she woke up. She didn't notice the 'curtains' which I was actually sort of thankful for because I didn't want her to know that I put it up. Pretty much the rest was a blast. They ended up rolling down the windows and wave at the cars driving past us, I ended up recording some cars driving past us with my phone out the window which was pretty insane to do. When we got to valley fair, I'll just say straight up it was hell. We ended up blocking traffic that was making a left turn into the plaza.

If there was one memory that I would remember from this trip...it would be...actually nevermind I'm not going to say it xP.

The Benefits of learning Manual Transmission

After having driven a manual transmission car for at least five months, doing a lot of researching about modding cars, and doing research on why it IS important to learn how to drive manual transmission (not saying that you have to, just a few tips of advice), these are my thoughts on why you should learn how to drive 'stick shift' (manual transmission for short, for those of you who don't know) car.

1). Just in case you are buying your first car and you don't want to spend too much on it and you still have some money left over to fix it up a bit, over 50% of cars from before the year 2000 are stick shift.
This is also why all the generations before us (our parents, grandparents, great grandparents, etc) all know how to drive manual transmission (especially China, Taiwan, those Asian countries). All the cars in the past in Taiwan and China were all manual transmission cars. For example, when I was researching for cars before I got my own mustang, I searched on Yahoo! Autos and most, if not all, the cars from 1999/2000 and before were stick shift. The thing is...depending on the car, those cars from 2000 or before cost $1000, $2000, $3000 at the most and some of them are even cheaper, just depends on where the car is being sold from.

2). If you learn how to drive a stick shift car, you know how to drive any car you see on the streets.
Believe it or not, when I got my permit, my mom told me to learn how to drive stick shift because then when I go back to Taiwan, I can drive my uncle's car. Guess what my reaction to that was? 'NO, I DON'T WANT to drive stick shift. I HATE stick shift.' I got mad at my mom for still pushing me to learn how to drive stick shift, but now? I am GLAD that she forced me to drive stick shift, because it's just pure 100% fun. After the six hours of driving with an Allied driving instructor in a stick shift vehicle, it had been one whole year since I drove a stick shift car. By the time I was driving alone with my mom's Lexus, I was itching to go back to driving stick shift. My mom had even warned me that stick shift will be twice or even more as tiring and all the cons about it (especially in rush hour traffic and bumper-to-bumper traffic) but I didn't care. All I wanted was to drive a stick shift car. Just the feeling of being able to drive both a stick shift and an automatic is awesome. I taught my friend how to drive stick shift and she learned it in half the amount of time it took me to fully learn how to drive stick shift (although I still have a few flaws such as downshifting and making the car jolt when upshifting and downshifting). I was even surprised she was interested in learning stick shift but there's no cons to that. The reason why I wanted to teach her was because first, me, myself, I LOVE driving. Second, it's the reason above listed right beside the number. Pretty soon, she'll be able to drive my car on the streets, and that's exactly what I hope will happen.

3). One of the most important reasons for me, personally, is that stick shift cars are actually at least half a second faster than automatic cars, if you're shifting right
I don't remember which source I got it from, but it's been proven that if the car was modded correctly and everything was in good shape and you were to take it onto a drag strip and race it against another car who either has similar specs or a bit lower/the same car with different mods and is automatic transmission, the car that's stick shift will take the lead. Why is that? It's simple. Now I never quite realized this until I transferred over from my mom's lexus and drove the mustang for a while. With an automatic, you cannot control how fast you can get to in each gear because the automatic transmission shifts gears for you when it thinks it's the right time to shift gears. But with a stick shift on the other hand, since you control the shifting of the gears, you can control what speed you get to in each gear. Take for example, if I were to drive my mom's lexus, I would be in fourth gear by the time I hit 40 mph. With the mustang, If I were to take each gear up to at least 3000 RPM, I would be past 40 mph. If I remember correctly, all stock engine/body parts, at third gear 3000 RPM, I would be at at least 50-60 mph. But then if I were to shift at around 2000-2500 RPM on the mustang in each gear, I would get to 40 mph in fourth gear.

5). Better fuel economy and can save up on gas
Now, for myself, I don't feel as if I did save up any gas on my own mustang because it is a sports car after all and me driving a sports car, it basically means to floor it so instead of saving up on gas, I actually waste more, but that's not the case with all the stick shift cars here. I still cannot figure out why it is but people have said that you do save more gas driving a stick shift than driving an automatic. It might also be because with stick shift, you can shift whenever u want (for instance, u can shift each gear at 1000-1500 RPMS when with an automatic, it's already set at a specific shift point depending on how much u pressure the gas pedal). But that's just a guess, I still have to do a bit more research on it.

4). This is one of my favorite reasons. If none of your family members knows how to drive stick shift (I'm the only one who knows how to drive stick shift in my family, my dad does not live with me anymore), then the car is all yours, unless they ask you to teach them.
Me, knowing how to drive stick shift AND automatic, I can drive both my mom's car and my own car. My mom? she's got a license, she can drive, but she can't drive my car. Why? Because she does not know how to drive stick shift. There is no other simpler way of saying it. At least my mom learned how to start up the car in the morning because it's just freezing cold in the morning and since my car is somewhat old with leather seats, the inside of the car is FREEZING in the mornings.

The reason why I wanted to teach my friend how to drive stick shift was because like I mentioned above, as long as she knows how to drive stick shift and can manage to drive it perfectly on the road without stalling the engine (everyone stalls the engine when they first start out with stick shift, even I did. I stalled the engine more than she did because I had no idea how it worked), she can drive any car she wants regardless of if it is stick shift or automatic. In case she, like me, had to get a car that's not new and was stick shift, she wouldn't have a headache about how to drive it. This was the same reason (well part of the reason) my mom wanted me to learn how to drive stick shift. At first she was against me driving stick shift too, but then one day I overheard her talking to one of her friends, the reason why she let me continue on to drive stick shift is because in the future, if I got my own car, it might be just like this mustang. Meaning, it might be stick shift also, not automatic. But...I won't have a headache about it because I know how to drive a stick shift. This was the point my mom was trying to get to. So in the end, I really would thank my mom for forcing me to learn stick shift because if it wasn't for her, I wouldn't be driving...a stick shift mustang right now which I highly prize.

Last Few Hours of Being a 17 Year Old?

So..what exactly am I doing during my last few hours of being a 17 year old guy?
Here's my answer: I am...
1). Working on my psychology project that is due tomorrow, which is 50 points and I am not even halfway through yet.
2). I am semi-YouTube surfing videos of people drifting in the game Need For Speed: Most Wanted
3). Frustrated at the fact that I also have chemistry homework to do but the Psychology project will most likely take all of tonight even if I WASN'T YouTube surfing videos.

I know that whatever I'm about to say next has NOTHING to do with the title, but so far my three friends who I hang out with right now and my mom have asked me what I wanted for my birthday. I told them I did not want anything specific. The ONLY things I wanted was just to get my car fixed, perhaps a mod or two, and something else (no one will be able to guess what it is, except maybe someone...),that's it.

The Things About My Car

So...I am very glad that I happen to own a mustang but...there's some problems with it, and not minor problems. MAJOR problems.

1. Gears grind
When out driving (sometimes, during the morning at around 8-9:00), when I'm driving in first gear and want to shift into second gear, I step in on the clutch and try shifting into second, but guess what? It WON'T go into second. As soon as you put the shifter down where second gear is supposed to go, it gets stuck and even when u want to force it to go into second gear, it stays there. Not ONLY does it stay there, it also makes this grinding sound (this has happened twice to second gear). I haven't even gotten to third gear yet, and believe me, third gear is the major pain in the ass. Sometimes, even when the engine is warmed up to normal temperatures, when the car is, say up to around...3000-3500 RPM, I shift up into third gear, but the same DAMN thing happens. This has also happened more than twice. The only one explanation I can think of for these two problems is because the gear synchronization is messed up, so I will need to replace it IF I don't want the gears to grind when I'm driving (trust me, when the gears grind, it just makes the driving part completely un-smooth (idc if that's not a word, I'm just going to use it).
Engine Part to be fixed?
Gear Synchronization

2. Engine makes continuous squeaking sounds when in first gear (or now, it's even when i'm driving on the road...)
So when I'm driving, say in a parking lot, I'm in first gear to start with. So I coast along in first gear. Now, if you have the windows open, you will hear this sound coming out from underneath the car but the thing is I just CAN'T figure out where it's coming from/where the problem is. So then, when I shift into second gear from first gear, it does the same thing. i don't know why that is, when I first got the car it didn't make that sound, and I know I haven't been treating the car badly at all (except when I'm speeding, but that's only to the clutch as far as i'm concerned, because I do speed shifting).
Engine Part to be fixed?
Transmission

3. Cigarette Burner Fuse
I have to get this fixed because what if I needed to charge my phone or I needed to use some sort of portable GPS? I can't. Why? Because my damn cigarette fuse is not functioning -___-. I tried plugging in this electronic device but it didn't work on my car, so I asked my good friend Austin to try it on his car. Within seconds of him having the device plugged into the fuse, and turning on the ignition, the device turns on and starts working. Even better for me (not).

4. The Clutch
I don't even need to explain this one at all, all because of one good reason. If the clutch doesn't work, then you can't even operate the car. All you can do once your clutch dies out on you is just turning on the car and leaving it for show. The only way how you can operate the car is if you know where the exact shift points are for each gear in the car so that you can do a clutchless shift (but I think, based on a bit of research that I did, shifting without the clutch actually does damage the engine). I'll admit that I was a bit rough on the clutch (when I raced some people) from doing speed shifting (but that's what you have to do if you want to get faster acceleration) but I guess that's why people don't race with stock clutches (they always get performance clutches, i'm a dumbass -____-). I have dumped the clutch a few times (from doing burnouts) but not enough times to completely ruin the clutch. I don't know what the previous owner of the car did to it but I"m pretty damn sure that that person did more to the clutch than I ever did (got that car when it had 133K miles, idk about now).
Car Part that needs to be fixed/replaced?
The Clutch

5. Timing Belt
This one doesn't need much explaining either. When I got the car, it already showed signs of it having cracks. It's simple. If the timing belt breaks, you won't even be able to get the car to move. It'll just be sitting there for show.
Engine part that needs to be replaced?
Engine Timing Belt

6. Brakes
Every day, when I drive this car, I feel as if...the car cannot really come to a stop unless you REALLY put pressure on the brakes, but then it sends the whole gravitational force forward and it just doesn't feel good. Also, the brakes have worn out so it makes that screeching sound, which hurts peoples' ears too.
Car Part needing to be replaced?
Brake Pads

7. Handbrake (A.K.A e-brake)
One day, in the morning, at 8:00 A.M., I found my car parked in the middle of the court where my house is. When I saw that THAT had happened, I was shocked. I sprinted back into my house, grabbed the keys, and again sprinted to my car to quickly drive it up my driveway and re-park it. When I got into the car, I checked on the handbrake. Weird thing is, the handbrake was pulled up, so I have no idea how the hell the car ended up sliding down from my driveway and onto the street.

Now I'll talk about the possible mods I would like to install on this car IF I do decide that I want to mod the car.
1. Short Shifter
I want to install a short shifter because of the way how the stock shifter was designed. I gotta say, it was designed horribly. You put a cup in the cupholder nearest to the shifter? Whenever I shift into second gear, or TRY to shift into second OR fourth gear, the shifter ALWAYS hits the cup. It's annoying and it is a HUGE hassle to deal with. With the short shifter, I can shift at shorter distances, which most probably would mean the possibility of completely dodging the cup, but maybe not. Even if it didn't, it would be easier trying to shift than the regular stock shifter.

2. Lower Gear Ratios
I'm looking installing at 3.73 gears because the higher gears I can possibly install in my car, the faster the car will get to it's top speed. It helps when racing against other people, because right now it takes about 5 to 6 seconds when I'm going from 0-60 mph flooring the gas pedal and shifting at my best. With 3.73 gears and other major engine parts installed, I can hit 60 mph in perhaps less than 5 seconds, but that's uncertain. My main goal to installing 3.73 gears is to just gain faster acceleration and to hit high speeds faster.

3. BBK cold air intake kit
There's really not much to say about this install, other than the fact that it will increase the amount of horsepower you have by 15-20 HP. The reason being is because, this cold air intake can take in more air, therefore more pressure and allow the engine to get more power compared to the stock air intake I have in my car.

4. Borla Exhaust Pipe
I want this appearance mod because first of all, the sound coming out of this exhaust pipe is just BEAST. I've seen a lot of people debating on whether or not to get this exhaust or the catback exhaust pipe, other people have recommended Borla more than catback because the Borla exhaust provides a deeper sound to the engine. Also, the Borla exhaust also provides extra horsepower because of the size, and because there is also an option for dual exhaust pipes, both of which are Borla of course. With these dual exhaust pipes, hell, the car would most likely be twice as loud and can also add more horsepower to the amount of horsepower my car already has.

5. Performance Clutch
I want this mod because then I can dump the clutch more and it also won't wear out as fast. Performance Clutch=more peel outs and possible drifting in the future. Talking about drifting...here's where the next mod comes into play.

6. Lower and Stiffer Suspension
Having lower and stiffer suspension just means that you can drift better rather than not having the suspensions lowered and not being able to drift as well.

7. Sway Bars
The only one reason I want sway bars is because this also helps with easier drifting. I don't know why that's the case but when people want to drift, they ALWAYS install sway bars.

In the end, I love Mustangs and I would hate to sell this car, but honestly if it's a car that I don't feel safe driving (and my dad doesn't want to be responsible for fixing the car), then I'm just going sell the car and get another used car (hopefully a mustang, but if not probably a Honda Civic Si '11 or older).

future hobby: drift racing or drag racing? (and a side note)

YES, the title says it all, drift racing or drag racing as a future hobby? It is actually quite hard for me to choose in between these two options because first of all, the expense at which I will have to spend will most definitely be somewhat high and the amount of car modifications I'll have to do. I have been debating between these two subjects because I am very interested in drifting (even though I have no idea how to do it) and I have already been in some street races (similar to drag racing except it's illegal and it's on public roads). I know how to do burn outs, peel outs, burn outs leading into peel outs, making the tail of the car kick out left and right, etc, which basically means I can do drag racing but all there is to drag racing is just a straight strip of cement that's either an eighth of a mile long, a quarter of a mile long, or half of a mile long. As for drift racing, it's just basically a circuit (sometimes just an open lot with a course outlined by millions of cones) that you drift around in and also uses up tires VERY rapidly. The one thing that these two types of hobbies have in common though, is when some person knows what they are doing in either one of these activities, they get to know their car better, which is a key essential to how they should build up their car and what mods they have to install later on to increase their own enjoyment of their favorite hobby. As for me, I might consider being better off with drag racing because I already do sort of race other drivers on the streets so I know most of the basics for drag racing and as for drift racing, I will probably consider that as a "once-in-a-while" hobby to do.

Also, I wish my friend, Christina, all the best as she is starting school in a whole new environment in the world. Good luck to you Christina.
